Today, October 17, 2017, Pilot Chemical attended the 2017 Manufacturing Forum hosted by Sharonville Chamber of Commerce. Pilot’s VP of manufacturing and engineering, Chis Leedy, co-presented with Cincinnati State about a chemical operator training initiative that Pilot has been developing for 3 years.
The Manufacturing Form, Workforce Development 2017, is designed to start a discussion on the best practices for solving common issues for manufacturers. Focusing on how to find and how to retain employees with skills that are needed now and in the future. The keynote speaker is Ohio’s Secretary of State, John Husted. Other presentations include: Success stories, how-to partner with educational resources, and connections to regional programs.
