Pilot Chemical Company names Glynn Goertzen president of recently acquired Liquid Minerals Group
Goertzen brings more than 30 years of industry experience
CINCINNATI (August 23, 2016) – Pilot Chemical Company, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, has named Glynn Goertzen president of the recently acquired Liquid Minerals Group (LMG). In this role, Goertzen will be responsible for managing all facets of LMG’s existing platform as well as expanding its over-based carboxylate and sulfonate chemistries into new markets and applications.
In addition to his new role, Goertzen will continue to identify growth opportunities for Pilot through acquisitions and partnerships as vice president of business development. Goertzen served as vice president of commercial for Pilot Chemical since 1998. He will transition his existing responsibilities to others within Pilot.
Pilot purchased LMG in June 2016. LMG manufactures products for the power generation, marine industries, oil & gas and refinery markets and serves customers worldwide.
